Mental Performance Training

The mental strength training (MST) programs produced by OMPT are customized to fit the needs of individuals and teams. The first session for individuals and small groups will consist of a semi-structured interview conducted by Colin, and a current mental strengths questionnaire. Data collected through the interview and questionnaire will allow Colin to build your initial mental strength profile from which he will construct your custom MST program.

The first session for teams and organizations allows Colin to assess the needs of players, coaches, administrators, and parents. During this session, Colin will come to your facility to understand the environment in which athletes, coaches, and administrators are working. This is also the time where Colin and team/organization leaders will discuss the existing strengths of the organization as well as determine how he can best compliment the operations of the organization.

Run coaching

Colin will get to know you as an athlete (running history, injury history, current level of fitness, desired level of fitness, goals, and any other relevant information) and then build a custom training program that fits your lifestyle. If you only have 50 minutes to train, Colin will maximize these 50 minutes in a way that will most efficiently improve your running.

6-week training segments

  • Customized training plan based on athlete’s abilities, training history, athletic history, goals, and injury history.
  • Unlimited email/text communication with coach (24hr response time).
  • One, 30-minute phone call a week with coach.
  • Training plan (adjusted weekly if needed).
